Beneficiary Selection Policy

Scholarship & Educational Support Programs of NobleGenics Trust

1. Objective

To ensure transparent, merit-based, and need-based selection of beneficiaries for scholarships and educational support programs funded by donations and CSR contributions.

2. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy all of the following:

  • Academic Merit: Minimum 75% marks in last qualifying examination OR qualified in prelims of target competitive examination.
  • Economic Criteria: Annual family income not exceeding ₹2.5 Lakh, supported by valid income certificate/BPL card/affidavit.
  • Target Exams: UPSC, State PSC, CAPF, Banking Officers and may be extended to NEET, JEE, CLAT, or other government-approved competitive examinations.
  • Age & Domicile: As per specific examination requirements. Indian citizens only.

3. Selection Process

  • Application: Submitted online/offline with academic records, income proof, and exam registration/admit card.
  • Verification: Document verification by Trust's Program Committee. Field verification may be conducted for income claims.
  • Assessment: Weighted scoring:
    60% Academic Merit
    30% Economic Need
    10% Personal Interview / Statement of Purpose
  • Approval: Final beneficiary list approved by Board of Trustees. Disbursement is direct to institution/coaching centre or via DBT to beneficiary's Aadhaar-linked bank account.
  • Monitoring: Quarterly academic progress review. Scholarship may be discontinued for non-performance or submission of false information.

4. Non-Discrimination

Selection is without regard to gender, caste, religion, or region.

Preference may be given to women candidates, persons with disabilities, and aspirants from aspirational districts as per Trust objectives.

5. Records & Audit

All applications, selection minutes, and disbursement records are maintained for audit and regulatory inspection.

6. Review

This policy is reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees to ensure alignment with charitable objectives and regulatory requirements.
